Here are some troubleshooting steps:
- Check the fuse: Make sure the fuse on the electrical block underneath the driver's seat is not blown. If so, replace it.
- Switch on the control panel: Check that the switch for the water pump in the entrance area of the vehicle is switched on. Sometimes an accidentally switched off switch can be the problem.
- Check the water level: Check the water level. If there is too little water, the pump may overheat and not work.
If the water pump still does not work, we recommend that you contact a Bürstner dealer.
Note:
If water is still coming in at another tap, the microswitch on the previously installed tap is probably defective. The microswitch/tap must then be replaced by your dealer.
If there is too little or no water, there is a risk that the water pump will run hot during use and therefore no longer function. The water pump must be replaced.
