The load capacity and therefore the durability of a tyre is directly related to the tyre pressure.
- Tyres overheat if the tyre pressure is too low. This can cause serious tyre damage.
- Check tyre pressure regularly before setting off or every 2 weeks. Wrong tyre pressure causes excessive wear and can lead to damage or even to tyre burst. You can lose control of the vehicle.
- Use only valves that are approved for the specified tyre pressure.
- Check the tyre pressure on cold tyres.
The payload and the durability of tyres is directly dependent on the tyre pressure. Air is a volatile medium. It is unavoidable that it will escape from tyres. As a rule of thumb it can be assumed that a filled tyre loses pressure at a rate of 0.1 bar every two months. To prevent the tyres becoming damaged or burst, check the tyre pressure regularly.
- The information on pressure levels is valid for cold tyres and loaded vehicles.
- Pressure in hot tyres is higher than in cold tyres. Therefore, check the pressure when the tyres are cold.
- Tyre pressures in bar.
Max. permissible speed = 120 km/h (60 mph).
Always observe the speed limits of the individual countries.
The vehicles are constantly being adapted to the latest technical standards. It is possible that new tyre sizes are not yet included in this tyre pressure table. If this is the case, any Bürstner dealer will be happy to provide the newest values.
You can find them in our current Bürstner dealer directory for the respective country.
