Depending on the type of vehicle, the antenna for the vehicle's radio reception is either mounted visibly on the roof, in the vehicle's right-hand external mirror or also installed inside the control panel (also called the dashboard).
There are versions here that are designed for both FM and/or DAB+ reception. This always depends on which types of transmission the installed radio terminal can process. The easiest way to find out is via the menu of the respective device.
In the case of roof-mounted antennas, care must be taken that they can be damaged by carelessness, e.g. if they are not taken into account when driving under an obstacle (branches of a tree or similar). Likewise, care must always be taken here when washing the vehicle.
If reception is impaired, first check whether adjusting the transmitter frequency will remedy the situation or whether the vehicle is currently in an area with restricted signal emission. If the malfunctions persist for a longer period of time, please contact a service or contract partner who will check the radio system.
